Here's a concept of my character from different face perspectives. I want to create full body poses next but for now I want to work on his face. I am having lots of fun drawing him and hope to get better the more I practice on his face. After I finish his body concepts I plan on working on another character. This time it will be a female and I also started a sculpture on her. I will be posting pictures of that very soon.

Well he turned out better then I thought he would. I still need to work on the shirt but other then that he is about finished. :)

This one was done on Yupo paper. I love using it because you can get really dark with it. It also feels like you are drawing on plastic...which I think it is plastic (100% polypropylene) lol. Anyway, this is a graphite drawing and it is not done yet but I am having a lot of fun with it. He is a made up character and I just want to get better at drawing him so this is my first attempt to a semi-realistic look. I will be using him in a graphic novel I hope to one day create.

I am working on some art projects and this is one of them. Don't know what I will call it yet but I hope that my model (Nadia) will enjoy the final result. It's in its beginning sketch stage and I will render it in water color.

I was so glad when I heard that Tim Burton was directing this movie. As soon as I can, I will go watch it. After looking at the trailers, it seems like it will be a great movie!

Mmmmmm.... it truly is fun to make your own sushi. It was easier then I thought. Well, I made like 7 different rolls and fed them all to Luis. Poor guy, he loved them but I'm sure he won't want to eat sushi for some time now.

Sushi is the best. On our honeymoon, Luis and I went to this little restaurant in San Diego to eat sushi. I ordered sushi that had jalapenos in it and it was super spicy. I remeber that we couldn't finish it and we had to take it home. For an early Valentine's Day gift, Luis took me to a sushi restaurant here in Provo and I definately enjoyed it. We had 3 different kinds and were stuffed(we didn't leave any to take home). We had lots of fun! Now he wants me to learn how to make sushi. I wonder who would be willing to teach me?

We have a little more than a month that we moved to Utah. It is beautiful and even though I'm not used to the snow, I love it when it comes. According to my husband, there should be more snow but it looks like this year it got warm really fast.
